VERIFICATION

CENTRUM, as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider, can carry out ID verification on your behalf in line with the Companies House ID verification regulations.

OVERVIEW

On 18 November 2025, Companies House (UK’s governing public company register) introduced mandatory identity verification  (IDV) for company Directors and People with Significant Control (PSCs).
This is a major reform under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, designed to improve the accuracy of the UK register, combat fraud, and strengthen the business environment.

B.C. BUSINESS CENTRUM LIMITED is a registered Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP).

A list of registered ACSPs can be found here (CENTRUM is yet to be added to the list as the government does not update this list on a set schedule).

OBJECTIVE

To ensure that anyone setting up, running, or controlling a UK company is a real person and who they claim to be.

ONE-TIME PROCESS

For most individuals, this will be a one-off verification. Once complete, you will receive a unique personal code.

CONSEQUENCES OF NON-COMPLIANCE

• Filing Restrictions: Company will be unable to make filings with Companies House.
• Public Annotation: The company's register will be publicly marked as "unverified," which could impact its reputation and business relationships.
• Disqualification: Directors who do not comply could face disqualification.
• Criminal Offence: It will be an offence for an individual to act as a director without being verified.
• Fines and Penalties: Individuals and companies may face financial penalties.

Our fee is £100.00 + VAT per verification. Bulk discounts  are available.
